Our Refer · a · Friend program is the perfect way to share with friends and business associates the financial benefits of banking with Equity Bank - plus it’s a great way to earn extra cash! For every friend you refer to our bank who opens a personal checking account you receive $25. Better yet, your friend also earns $25. Any associate you refer opening a business checking account receives $50 and you do too!

Here’s how it works:

• Your referral must be a new customer to Equity Bank and may not have been a signer on an Equity Bank account that has closed within the last 3 months.
• The more referrals you make the more we pay – there’s no limit! But that’s not all, the person you refer gets a reward too. We’ll also pay them just for opening the account with us.
• To make a referral, click on “Make a referral now” and enter your information and the email address of your referral. We will email your referral asking them if they are interested in opening an account with Equity Bank. If they successfully open an account with us, we will direct deposit the applicable reward into your account.

Certain restrictions may apply. The new customer (referee) offer is valid for new checking accounts only. No other types of accounts are applicable. The referee is not eligible for this offer if they were a signer on an Equity Bank account that was closed within the last three months. All accounts are subject to our normal approval process.

A referring customer can receive multiple incentives for referring multiple new customers. A referee can only receive one incentive for being referred. A new customer can receive additional incentives by referring other new customers.

The new customer will receive the incentive upon verification of qualification in the referral program. We will direct deposit the new customer’s total incentive amount into his/her new Equity account.

All referring customers will receive their incentive via direct deposit into their Equity Bank account after we verify that the new customer opened a qualifying new account. All referral rewards will be included on the annual 1099s and reported to the IRS. Reward recipients are responsible for any applicable taxes. Note: We reserve the right to disqualify any referrals in circumstances where we reasonably believe they were not sent to us in good faith. Referral incentives will only be paid to Equity Bank customers.
